Got questions? We’ve compiled answers to the most frequently asked questions to help you find the information you need quickly.

How do I know there is a problem with my heating unit?

Abnormal noises, smells, cold spots on your radiators and higher energy bills can all be signs of an issue with your boiler or heating system. If you notice any of these, please give Plumbusters Ltd a call. Office hours are between 9am-5pm.

Why should I upgrade my unit?

There are several reasons why customers choose to upgrade their systems, with performance and energy efficiency being the most common. Modern systems are designed to be significantly more energy-efficient, delivering improved performance at a reduced operational cost.

In many cases, older systems may no longer meet the demands of a growing household or business, or they may require frequent repairs and ongoing maintenance—making an upgrade a more practical and cost-effective long-term solution. (long warrenty)

How long does a new boiler installation take?

The installation timeline will vary depending on the type of system selected and the specific requirements of your property. As a general guideline, a standard replacement of a traditional or combi boiler in a 1–3 bedroom property typically takes between 1 to 2 days.

More complex upgrades may take up to 4 days; however, all timeframes will be clearly discussed during your initial consultation.

What if I don’t currently have central heating?

We would be delighted to install a modern heating system designed to enhance the comfort and efficiency of your property. Installation typically takes between 5 to 6 days, depending on the size of your property and the type of system selected. All timeframes will be clearly discussed during your initial consultation.
